A SERIES OF CREATIVE EVENTS IN THE MABGATE-SHEEPSCAR AREA!
Factory 4 are pleased to be part of this exciting day event highlighting the exciting creative organisisations ever striving to instigate positive and interesting happenings in our area!
FACTORY 4 is conducting our Christmas workshop, with your chance to make your own Christmas goods.
Paint up laser or wood cut decorations, print your own Christmas cards, or design your own wrapping peaper. And the whole time you the cheer of hot chocolate, mince pies and other Christmas consumptables. The factory 4 elves are on hand to show you the capabilities of our creative workshop and share in a nice and relaxed day of making.

Open Area Event
Celebrating the actions of creative groups in Mabgate and Sheepscar.
On 10.12.11 8 venues open their doors and welcome you to a day of creative indulgence.
Come see the gig rooms, galleries, studios, markets, workshops, deli's and bars that make up this creative community living just out of the Leeds centre.
Providing a wide array of events and activities, come enjoy a great day of engaging with an exciting artistic neighborhood. With the first space opening at 11am and the last one closing at 1am, there is much to see and do. This day celebrates the venues and activities that have taken home in Mabgate and Sheepscar, and their striving to create unique and wonderful happenings in the spaces we inhabit.

Stott's - 11.00-17.00
From fine food to fine art, enjoy a good lunch while viewing print work of artist Fred Pepper as this 'Recent graduate emerges blinking into the light with a selection of handmade prints.'
East Street Arts - 12.00-20.00
Taking to the corridors, the studio holders of Patrick's Studios are bursting creativity out of their studios and all over the building.
Inviting you to a drawing exchange, see your chance to exhibit artwork and then partake in a trading at 6pm. Enjoy a slice of cake and a warming drink as you enter the exchange to take home your own favoured artwork.
Factory 4 - 12.00 - 20.00
If you thought Santa had it right, check out Factory 4's Christmas workshop. With printing your own cards and making your own decorations, enjoy some unique festive, making fun.
Ever providing essential relaxation after a hard day's creative endeavors, the Reliance provides both art on the walls and tables for discussions throughout the night. Providing even a chance to treat yourself to a beverage too.
Presenting a unique Christmas market, MAP's stallholders will be selling handmade Christmas wares as well as 'esoteric strangeness' and 'vintage clobber'. With good cheer and even better Christmas gear, this is a market not to be missed.
Giving their Alternative Christmas Party, Test Space offers you an exhibition of some favourite artists, a great array of live music and DJs as well as what you might not quite expect as Christmas cinema.
Presenting the ongoing 'Space Project', ROU tries to 're-imagine the university' with collective information exchange and free to all education. A space offered for the use of those who want it, their part for the event could be anything, or perhaps nothing at all.

As many of us know, creative outputs have to be supported with general life too. Unfortunately these two venues are unable to take part in this particular event, but are doing such great stuff anyway, they are well worth a mention.
A top team of printers, designers and illustrators providing complete printing services throughout the UK. With a determined attitude to make their creative aspirations happen, they are guilty of making great stuff.
A bike co-op formed by volunteers who strive to share knowledge under the idea 'anyone can fix their bike'. Providing the tools, books and time, this friendly group is something to be spoke about.
